Extensive preparation for the role
During an interview with Screen Rant, Kim Woo-bin revealed that he put a lot of effort into developing his character for “Black Knight”. He sought hints from the script, discussed his character with the director, and imagined the aspects of the role that were not explicitly written into the script.
Based on Lee Yoon-gyun’s webtoon ‘Delivery Knight,’ “Black Knight” explores a dystopian world where humanity’s survival relies heavily on the Black Knights, a group of elite delivery drivers. The show has reportedly enlisted the expertise of VFX Studio Westworld, the same visual effects team behind other popular Korean dramas such as “Sweet Home,” “All Of Us Are Dead,” and the global hit, “Squid Game.”
Release date and availability
The six-episode series of “Black Knight” will premiere globally on Netflix on May 12th. It will be available for streaming in Indian English, among other languages.
