The Solstice event returns to Destiny 2 in 2023, bringing with it new weapon upgrades, new rockets, new power-ups and more.
Destiny 2’s most exciting event is just around the corner. Solstice of Heroes 2023 celebrates all the Guardians have accomplished throughout the year. The event also has some pretty cool armor that will shine based on the subclass you currently have. Combine that with the limited-time game mode and the new Strand rocket launcher, and it’s no wonder players are excited to see him return.
What is Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes 2023 event?
The Solstice is Destiny 2’s way of celebrating the Guardians’ efforts over the years. The event will take place in the last city as usual, with Eva Levante as the vendor.
When it comes to gaming, Solstice 2023 is mostly about building your legacy by engaging in armed conflicts in a European climate. Players need to collect Silver Ash, Silver Leaf, and Fire Seed to upgrade their different weapons to shine.
When is Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2023 happening?
Solstice of Heroes is coming to Destiny 2 next week. That means it will start again on July 18, 2023 every week. The competition will be around 4 weeks, which means the last day should be around August 15, 2023.
Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes Armor and Rewards
As last year, Solstice of Heroes 2023 will offer special armors that can be modified to show their brilliance.
Each class will have its own custom armor set as usual. This device needs to be modified a lot for it to shine, which means there will be pain ahead. Alternatively, you can purchase the change for Brightdust or Silver in the Eververse store.

- When close to a fireteam member, gain increased Recovery and Super regeneration.
Flare
- Rapidly defeat combatants to unleash waves of paracausal fire around you, dealing damage to nearby combatants.
Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes how to obtain Silver Leaf, Ash, and Kindling
In order to grab the necessary items to upgrade your armor, here’s what you’ll need to do.
Silver Leaves
- Earn Silver Leaves by completing activities throughout the game.
Silver Ash
- Transform Silver Leaves into Silver Ash by completing the Bonfire Bash activity.
- Spend Silver Ash to reroll armor stats from the armor mod screen.
Kindling
- Earn Kindling by completing Solstice Event Challenges
- Spend Kindling to upgrade your armor stat roll potential, each piece of armor can be upgraded three times (three tiers).
